A woman from Pemberton Township has been sentenced to eight years in state prison for driving while impaired and causing the death of a teenager in a head-on crash after she had been drinking at a bar.
It was right around the beginning of fall in 2014 when a police officer in Burlington County nearly lost his life when a bullet struck his patrol car. Now, two men have been indicted for allegedly being involved in the shooting.
In the early morning hours of November 3, 2020, 27-year-old Shaimere Turner was a passenger in a vehicle that was struck by gunfire in the 100 block of Kinsley Road in Pemberton. He died in that shooting and his killer has yet to be caught.
