Have you ever wondered why we are seeing so many sharks, dolphins, and whales off the Jersey Shore this summer?

New Jersey has a variety of shark species off of the coast, most are not known to be aggressive towards humans.

Is it ironic that here we are days away from Halloween and we have a shark named "Jekyll" off the coast of New Jersey?

Multiple sharks were found dead after they had washed up onto the South Jersey coastline back in 2019.

Given the amount of whale and dolphin deaths off the Jersey Shore in recent months, it's a fair question to at least contemplate whether any sharks may come to our coastline.

Simon, a nine foot long juvenile, was spotted off the coast by Island Beach State Park.

A juvenile great white shark was detected in the waters off New Jersey twice in the past few days.

No Great Whites to see here, unfortunately. You'll have to take your chances out on a boat to catch a glimpse.

A Toms River resident however, ended his fishing trip in Seaside Park with a little more than just a nibble on the line. Now, I've had friends who do this type of fishing when they'd visit the shore, but I don't think they ever caught anything quite this big!

Video captured recently by two residents of Margate shows a frenzy of sharks circling bay waters, and we can't stop watching it.

When you take a dip in South Jersey coastal waters, make sure you don't forget whose house it is. Video shows that the sharks are never lurking too far away.

This summer has seen more shark sightings and attacks in waters of the Northeast Coast than in recent years.
