The National Anthem

The Southern Regional and Pinelands Regional High School basketball game got off to an interesting start the other night, thanks to a very young National Anthem singer.

12 year-old Absecon student Mia Watson sang the National Anthem before the St. Augustine – Holy Spirit basketball game on Saturday.  Wow!  She's going to be a star someday!

Poor Aaron Lewis!  He messed up the lyrics of the National Anthem before Game 5 of the World Series yesterday.

This young girl sang The National Anthem flawlessly!  Not many people can pull that off!  Did I mention she has autism?

Zac Brown Band (well, four of them) performed a beautiful acoustic version of The National Anthem last night before the BCS Championship Game between Alabama and Notre Dame.

Please.  The National Anthem is a beautiful song that (in my opinion) is not open for artistic interpretation.
