A search warrant executed by members of the Atlantic City Police Department's SWAT Team on Friday resulted in three people being arrested.

Authorities say they raided a home in the 100 north block of South Carolina Avenue Friday. Inside the home, three people were arrested after detectives recovered more than 200 bags of heroin and $3,700 in cash.

30-year-old Hamid Simms, 21-year-old Madina Hayes, and a 17-year-old male, all of Atlantic City, were all charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession with the intent to distribute CDS, and possession with the intent to distribute CDS within 1,000 feet of a school zone.

Simms and Hayes were released on a summons with a future court date. The 17-year-old was turned over to his guardian.
