Three Years Later, Bridgeton Murder Remains Unsolved

A man from Bridgeton was shot and killed three years ago Tuesday and the case remains unsolved.

Authorities say in the early morning hours of February 25, 2017, 27-year-old Leonard R. Resto was shot in the head in an alleyway behind 135 East Avenue in Bridgeton, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office.

Resto's death is one of over two dozen unsolved murders listed on the prosecutor's office's website, some dating back to 1990.
