El Camino Health is redefining the standards of patient care, offering a broad spectrum of services designed to meet various health needs. Their dedication shines through in advanced heart and vascular care, rehabilitation-focused orthopedic treatments, and groundbreaking cancer support. El Camino places a premium on trust and compassion, ensuring that every individual feels supported at each stage of their health journey.

In addition to healthcare, community engagement and support have become increasingly vital. Many individuals and organizations are turning to crowdfunding platforms such as GoFundMe to drive positive change in their neighborhoods and for personal initiatives. With more than 190 million users, GoFundMe empowers people to pursue their aspirations, whether that involves financing a child's education, launching a small project, or supporting a local sports team. Fundraising isn't limited to emergencies; it's an opportunity to bring dream projects to life.

In a notable local development, recent news from Atlantic County reveals a troubling situation involving the treasurer of the Maze Landing Fire Department. Matthew C. Roberson Jr. faces serious allegations of third-degree theft due to misappropriation of funds during his tenure. Investigative efforts uncovered that he allegedly altered financial records and used funds for personal spending—an unfortunate breach of trust for a community leader.

On another note, New Jersey is experiencing various challenges with renewed discussions surrounding e-bike regulations. Following several accidents, including fatalities, there are mounting calls for:

  • Stricter e-bike regulations.
  • Increased public safety measures.

Some e-bikes can reach speeds of up to 30 miles per hour, sparking concerns about safety in shared spaces. Meanwhile, a drought watch has been put into effect across the state, urging residents to conserve water as dry conditions are anticipated to persist.

As residents prepare for the day, the weather forecast offers a reprieve with mostly sunny skies and light breezes, ideal for outdoor activities and family outings. With a bit of caution and mindfulness towards local developments, there remains much to cherish in the vibrant communities throughout the region.

I'm here for it and I love the questions that are rolling in too. >> Carla asked Carla from Northfield. She asked on our app the question that we I get asked the most. >> It's about Friday's our friend Phil. Is Phil real? >> Yeah, Phil's real. >> He's a real person. That's not exactly his voice. >> It's pretty close. >> He's nobody that actually works here. I just kind of got hooked up with Phil 20 some years ago and he's here every Friday. >> He's here. stops in every week. >> But he's a very funny guy. >> We love it. >> Uh let's see. Tom from Maze Landing, what's your go-to waw wa order? >> Oh, yeah. Do you have one? >> I do. I'll let you go first. >> Okay. So, my go-to waw wa order. I go to the counter and I order um an espresso or an Americano and I put all my doctors in it. >> What the hell is an Americano? >> It's um >> What kind of sandwich is that? >> Shots of espresso. Whatever. Whatever. So, that's my >> It's like a coffee. >> Yeah. Yep. Mocha. It's a Yeah. A mocha um Americano. And then it's espresso with like some sort of milk and then a flavor, whatever. And then my go-to um order is an Italian is an Italian with American cheese. Add avocado. Add bacon. >> Is that a coffee? >> Lettuce, tomato. No, lettuce, tomato. >> Um light oil, light vinegar, salt, pepper, oregano, or the southwest roasted chicken salad. That's so good. >> My go-to waw wa order, fill it with regular Boring. >> Oh, that's gas. >> Yeah. Uh, food order like food like mac and cheese. >> You have You couldn't guess my food order. I bet you couldn't. >> Meatball sub. >> That is not outright. Uh, my go-to order would be a chicken salad sub >> with lettuce, tomato, occasionally hot peppers. >> All right, let's move on. Um, >> I love that one. >> Uh, >> now I'm hungry. >> Ashley from Egg Harbor Township, what's your all-time favorite concert memory? Oh boy. >> Jeez. Oh gosh, we've both been to so many. >> I would, >> this is hard. >> If we're gonna confine it to concerts and not like backstage stuff because backstage >> I had a lot of great experiences while we we'd interviewed Jelly Roll, a lot of people, Laney Wilson. >> I I I've spent a lot of time >> with a lot of people >> with Toby Keith on his bus. That was really cool. >> I loved making Toby Keith laugh just so I could say one day I made Toby Keith laugh. >> Right. I got to spend a lot of time a couple of times with Gar Brooks and Trisha Yearwood. Same with Tim McGra. >> Tim Mcgra is great. >> Um Kenny Chzn, a lot of different stuff with Kenny. But if if we're talking concert in concert stuff, >> mine's so easy. Do you want me to go first? >> No, I I'll say my in concert stuff. Well, I look at some of the backyard barbecues we've done in the past with people like Jody Msina, Little Big Town, Dirks Bentley, Rodney Atkins. Those were fun. But I guess on stage, my best on on concert during concert event was at the Trump Taj Mahal. This was probably 15, 20 years ago. Leon Wack stopped her show at the Taj, which is now Hard Rock, >> and sang me happy birthday >> during the concert. >> Gosh, that's so amazing. >> It was amazing. Was highly embarrassing, but that was pretty That's okay. I take the embarrassment. Uh, mine's actually really simple. Um, I had a different answer up until this point. Um, the Gar Brooks dive bar Tour, if you were in that room of 300 people, I mean, I've I've done big shows, done small shows. This was an experience that >> I I don't think I'm ever going to be able to top just because of the sheer massive like icon that that's like being in a room with only 200 people in Taylor Swift. You know what I mean? Yeah. like he was right there. He took the time to chat with me. He um I was I was gathering our our um cutouts outside that we had of him outside of Prospectors like the Cat Country Gars Brooks cutouts. >> Okay. >> And he was in his limo and he put his window down when we were leaving. I think I told you this at the time. And he was like, "Hey, I really want to say thank you so much for being here and for helping to make all this possible cuz I had like the CAD country." Like he knew I worked at the station. He knew who I was at that point. He chatted with me. And so that was so cool for Gar Brooks, somebody of that magnitude to be like, "Hey, thanks for doing what you do." That was really cool. I don't know how I'm going to top that ever. >> I don't know if I've ever mentioned this. I have a theory about that Gar Brooks bar show. >> Um again, it was at Prospectors. >> Yeah. >> It was really cool. If you're a fan of Gar Brooks, it was the ultimate thing. >> Mhm. >> If you would have walked in that bar that night and had no idea who Gar Brooks was. Okay. If you had no idea, never heard any of his songs, never heard of Gar Brooks, and you saw him singing on stage, you would go, "Hey, that's pretty cool." >> Yeah. >> You wouldn't have been overwhelmed >> cuz he was just having fun. They were >> just a regular guy >> having a blast. It just shows the magnitude of what he does and that he's put it into an arena show and >> hit songs and everything else, but he could just be a guy with a bar and a bar. This morning at 609 383 1073 or you can hit the message us button on the Cat Country 107.3 app. Instead of a question of the day, we're kind of allowing you to ask questions. Ask us anything. 6093831073 or hit the message us button on the Cat Country 107.3 app. Uh Jason from Hamilton. Who's the biggest prankster, Joe or Janna? >> I'd say the answer. I know what the answer is. This is easy. >> You. >> Chris Coleman. >> That Yes. I was going to say I don't think any of us beats Chris Coleman. >> Who's nicer, Joe or Janna? That would be Jess. >> That's true. >> We've never heard Jess raise her voice ever. >> That's true, Joe. >> And she's she's she's exactly like she is on the radio. She's correct. Joe's the sweetest person. >> She's the nicest sweetest. Joe and I are very similar in a lot of ways. So that's why that's why we have to >> That's the scariest thing I've ever heard today. >> It's the truth. It's the truth. >> Ashley from EHT. What's the strangest thing you've eaten? >> Oh, that's a good question. Oh, yeah. >> I'd say mine was probably esargo. >> Snails. >> That was going to be my I was going to say caviar. Like I tried caviar and it's like the >> Give me tacos. >> It's almost like pop rocks in your mouth that don't pop. >> What? Caviar. >> Yeah. Yeah. That's the best way to describe it. It's like it's and for all that money, I mean, sure, it's fine. It's good, whatever, but the the texture is weird. >> Now, here's one from Facebook from James Mono. Do you and Janna generally enjoy working together for all these years? >> I would say yeah. >> First of all, all these years, how many years has it been? Three. >> Six. >> Six. >> I know. Throw up in my mouth. >> I would say I would say yeah. Overall, yeah. >> Overall, yes. Except for Tuesdays and Thursdays and some Fridays. >> Uh, yeah. I I I've said this before. And I would say >> because of my kids and their friends. >> I would say you've opened up to me too a lot about stuff. I think you know >> opened up to you. >> Yeah. I think we know a lot about each I think we know more about each other than we would have wanted to know, honestly. >> Uh here's one from Frank, by the way. Ask us anything. 6093831073 or hit the message us button on the cat country 107.3 app. We have uh trivia with Gary Allen. Tickets coming up in a few minutes. Uh Frank from Kate May wants to know if you weren't in radio, what job would you want to do? >> That's such a good answer. Do you have one? You've been doing this way longer than me. >> I've wanted to do this since I was 13 years old and I've been doing it since I was 17 and a half. >> See me only 19. You're way older. >> So this is what I've always wanted to do. There's only one other thing. Well, I I I enjoyed for a while. We worked for the uh the football team in Atlantic City. >> That was a blast. I >> I was like the the the announcer, what do you call it? The announcer in the in the thing. And that was I liked doing that. But the there's only one other job I I really would like to do and it's kind of my retirement plan cuz I I I will never retire. Maybe I'll stop doing this job and I'll do something else. But that's something else I would >> I can't see you sitting on your butt all day. Yeah. >> You know what I do you know what I want to do? >> Be like a golf something with golf. It's got to be right. No. Oh, really? >> I would like to be a tour guide. >> You'd be really good at that. >> I would like to go on a tour and say, "And there's this and there's this. Here's the story about this." And I would just make stuff up, >> but I can't see. I thought you were being serious. I >> really I really would like to be a tour guide. >> Uh, so if you're running a tour and you're looking for somebody >> in Kay Atlantic City, >> Yeah. >> Joe's your guide. >> Kay Zoo. You could be one of like the guided tour people at the Kay Zoo. >> I don't want to walk around. I want to be on a boat or train or something and just be pulled around and talk. >> You could be like on the whale watching boats. That's what you need to do. >> There's a whale. >> Yeah, >> that's a big That's a big whale. He's black and white. >> Or like the dolphin, but one of them. >> And what's your answer? It works. >> If you weren't doing radio, what would you be? >> Um, for me, I would definitely be like I'd probably be like a musical theater teacher, like a theater teacher or something like that. That's my passion. Um, also I would love to be a nurse, specifically like an ER nurse or a flight nurse. Um, I'd be really really good at that. Um, and then ultimately, >> what the hell is a flight nurse? >> Flight nurse. Like when like the one like when you get medevaced, there's Yeah. When you get medevaced, there's nurses that are on like the helicopter, whatever. Yeah. Um, so I would absolutely do that. And also, um, I'm I would probably be involved with like the foster system. >> Country 107.3 Mornings with Joe and Janna. Hi, Cat Country. >> Hi. Good morning.
