There has been much concern during the coronavirus pandemic over what families who rely on school lunch can do while they remain closed. Local school districts have addressed this issue with a solution to help families during this time.

In letters to the parents and students, school districts have outlined where and when bagged lunches and/or breakfasts can be picked up from. This is the most current information and may be updated as the current situation continues. For the following school districts, meals are available for students who receive a free or reduced lunch.

Starting Tuesday, March 17th through the time of the closure, both bagged lunches and breakfasts will be available for pick-up between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM in the parking lots of Holy Spirit High School and Oyster Bay and on the Absecon School campus.

Pick-up started Wednesday, March 18th. Pick-up will occur between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. High school students can pick up the bagged meals at their neighborhood elementary school.

From 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM students pick up grab and go breakfast/lunch. Meals for Tuesday, March 17th and Wednesday, March 18th can be picked up on Tuesday, March 17th. Meals for Thursday, March 19th and Friday, March 20th can be picked up on Thursday, March 19th. An extended schedule will be released soon. Pick-up is available at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Middle School.

Pick-up will be made available at the Brigantine Community School Auditorium, Door # 22. Pick-up begins at 9:00 AM and runs until 11:00 AM. Pick-up will start on Tuesday, March 17th and also occur on Thursday, March 19th. The following weeks' pick-up will occur Monday-Thursday. Delivery is also available.

Effective immediately, school breakfasts and lunches will be made available to families. If the school you live closer to is not the school your child attends, you may still pick-up from the closer school. Pick-up times are Monday-Friday 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM for breakfast and 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM for lunch.

Times are not available on their website, however, breakfast and lunch pick-up will be at the school.

Pick-up occurs from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Meals can be picked up for the day or for the week. A form must be filled out for meal pick-ups.

Pick-up will occur from 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM at High School East and High School West. Student ID numbers are required at pick-up.  Thursday, March 19th will have two days of meals. The following weeks' pick-up will be detailed soon.

Pick-up will be available on Mondays for the week.

A form is online for meal pick-ups during the school closure. Pick-up occurs from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Elementary/Middle School at the 2nd cafeteria door near the bus garage. Each meal pick-up will include 2-3 days of worth of meals.

Students Pre-K through 8th can pick-up from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM at the Community School.

Pick-up will occur Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Meal pick-up can be at the closest school, not the school in which the student attends.

Lacey is offering both delivery and pick-up options. If you wish to pick-up meals between 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM at Lacey Township High School, you must contact Crystal DeCaro at Cdecaro@laceyschools.org​. Delivery will occur at bus stops between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM. Bus stops and times are located on the district's website.

Pick-up runs from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Locations may change, any questions can be made by calling 609-884-3475 ext. 248.

Buses will be available to transport families to these locations from various locations in the Wildwood area.

  • 10am to 11am - Corner of Park Avenue & Hand Avenue – Wildwood
  • 11am to 12 pm - Corner of Rochester Avenue & Pacific Avenue–Wildwood Crest
  • 9am to 10am - Intersection of Route 47 & Shawcrest Road –Wildwood

Free meals are available to all students. Pick-up is available from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Sandman or Memorial School. A weekly menu is available online.

Bussed students will be able to pick up meals at their bus stops 2 hours later than normal bus time. Non-bussed students can pick up meals at Mainland Regional High School, K-Mart parking lot in Somers Point, and in the parking lot on Mill Road opposite the Northfield Community School from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Pick-up for breakfast and lunch will run from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM.

Bagged lunches will be available at normal lunch cost; free lunches, reduced ($0.40). "The lunch will be charged to your child's lunch account. If there is money on account for reduced statuses, payment will be deducted." An order form must be filled out for lunches. "Bagged lunches will be available on a table at the front of each school from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM. If you have more than one child, lunches for all will be sent to the school where your youngest child attends."

As of now, Ocean City Schools are awaiting the appropriate funding for the meals. Keep up to date on developing information on their Facebook page.

Pick up a 5-day supply of lunches starting Tuesday, March 17th. Families will be notified by the school for more detailed information on pick-up times and location.

Pick-up begins Thursday and will continue Monday with a week worth of meals.

Information will be distributed to parents regarding meals via flyers, district website, social media, and phone calls).

Information regarding meal pick-ups will be announced Monday, March 23rd.

From 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM meals will be available for pick-up in the Wildwood High School courtyard. If you are picking up meals for your child/children or others, you must have the child's full name and birthday.

Parents can order lunches on the district's website on the Online Learning Portal. Pick-up is available from 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM at the school on Pacific Ave entrance next to the loading docks.
