So I'm into my second month of learning guitar with Fret Zealot, and I continue to be amazed at how cool of a system this is to learn how to play.

You've been hearing me say on the radio that anyone can do this. That's true! If you have ever wanted to play guitar but you don't have time for long, traditional lessons, this is the way to go.

But what if you have no musical background? Don't worry about it!

The extent of my musical abilities is that I was in my high school marching band (alto saxophone, thank you very much) -- and that was a long time ago, believe me. While I can read sheet music, I didn't know anything about playing the guitar.

And that's the beauty of Fret Zealot.

Their lessons -- over a hundred of them -- are videos on your phone. And they're short, like 10 or 20 minutes. That means you can take a lesson on your lunch break or while you're sitting on your couch at home. Their LED light panel attaches to your guitar and via Bluetooth, it lights up and that's how you learn to play. I've also developed an appreciation that some great musicians learned guitar later in life, too.

Like me, you'll start with their 30-day beginner challenge, which is a series of videos that literally starts with the right way to hold a guitar. From there, you build your basic skills. And because these are videos and not in-person lessons, if you miss something, you can replay the video as much as you want until you are comfortable moving on.

See -- anyone can learn to play the guitar with Fret Zealot! I'll keep sharing my progress with you in the coming months, and if you're ready to learn guitar with light, be sure to check out fretzealot.com.
