HBO Finally Releases the First Full GOT Season 8 Trailer!
The moment we've all been waiting for has FINALLY arrived! Well, if you're a Game of Thrones fan.
HBO dropped the first full trailer for the Game of Thrones final season yesterday and fans everywhere are not okay. They're losing their minds!
They've been waiting since 2017 for a glimpse into the final season, so this release is a pretty big deal. Regarding what to expect of the final season, be prepared for a bittersweet ending. Even Emilia Clarke who plays 'Daenerys Targaryen' on the show was shocked by the events that transpired for the characters during their last hoorah.
The author of the Game of Thrones books along with the show's producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have all said that the show will wrap as close to Martin's book series conclusion as possible. Since Martin hasn't finished writing the books, the producers obviously had to ask him for insider information in order to keep the show's story line as true to the original material as they could. However, there will be some liberties taken for the sake of the bringing the story's conclusion to the small screen.
The final season of Game of Thrones premieres April 14th on HBO.
