In a story that will make you exclaim, 'How COULD he?', a school custodian in Upper Deerfield Township, New Jersey stands accused of urinating in cafeteria food, and that's not where this gross tale ends.

The custodian, 25-year-old Giovanni Impellezzeri, of Vineland.

The Scene of the (Alleged) Crime:

Elizabeth F. Moore Elementary School in Bridgeton, New Jersey.

Impellezerri, who worked as the school's janitor for more than four years, according to, not only urinated on cafeteria food and utensils, police say, but he also reportedly contaminated those things with feces and bleach.

But wait...there's more.

Impellezzeri is also alleged to have rubbed food products, like bread, with his genitals, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office.

But wait...there's MORE.

He recorded himself committed the acts and shared the clips through a messaging app, reports.

Now What?

An arrest of Giovanni Impellezzeri was made last week and he made an appearance in front of a judge today, but a more formal hearing was pushed back to Thursday, November 9th.

The Consequences:

Impellezzeri now faces at minimum fives charges for his alleged crimes, including second-degree official misconduct, third-degree aggravated assault, tampering with food products, endangering the welfare of a child, and attempted endangering the welfare of children.

(Side note: Is depraved indifference a thing in New Jersey? Wouldn't this case apply? Not a lawyer, here, it's just a question because, like, who could do THIS where kids eat?!)

The Dirtiest Deeds: (Warning: The following is NSWF)

Court documents submitted by NJ State Police state, “Video showed Giovanni Impellizzeri utilized multiple pieces of bread to wipe his penis, testicles, and anus, as well as spitting on the bread, before putting the bread back into the container to be later served to children at the school". Police write Impellezzeri was seen “masturbating and urinating on pillows and kitchen bowls.”
