Eagles Elliott Clutch Kicking Earns 3rd Player of the Week Award

In his seventh season with the Eagles, Jake Elliott has established himself as one of the best Kickers in the NFL, and thanks to his 59-yard Field Goal on Sunday, Philadelphia's Kicker is having one of the best seasons in Franchise history.

On Wednesday, Jake Elliott was named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for the third time this season, the most Player of the Week Awards by any Eagles player since Darren Sproles in 2014. With his sixth Field Goal Made from 50+ Yards, Elliott has the third most in a single season in NFL history and has broken the Eagles Single-Season record which he set last season (5).

Elliott has made 19 of the 21 Field Goals attempted this season and it seems like every kick he has made this season has been essential to the Eagles success.  Elliott's 90 Points Scored this season accounts for 29% of Philadelphia's Points Scored this season and that is also tied for the 8th Most of any NFL Player this year with Miami Dolphins Running Back Raheem Mostert and Denver Broncos Kicker Will Lutz.

Jake Elliott already has the second most Field Goals Made in Eagles Franchise History, currently 137 behind David Akers. Elliott would need to average almost 25 Field Goals Made per season for the next 5 seasons to catch Akers on the Franchise All-Time List. Elliott already holds the Eagles Franchise Record for the most 50+ Field Goals Made (25).
