
South Jersey Student Chosen for Exclusive Congress of Future Medical Leaders
Since opening the High School in the mid-1990s, Cape May County Technical School has established itself as one of the most respected educational institutions in New Jersey's southernmost county.
Cape May Tech High School is located off Garden State Parkway Exit 11 as part of the Crest Haven Complex. Rated in the Top 30 percent of schools in New Jersey, the school's students have significantly higher Reading/Language Proficiency scores than the NJ State Average.
A Junior at Cape May County Tech HS has been selected for an exclusive Honors-only program that he will get to participate in next summer.
What is the Congress of Future Medical Leaders?
This prestigious, three-day program is sponsored by the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists. The event is hosted each summer connects future medical professionals with Healthcare Industry Leaders, Nobel Prize Winners, and Medical School Executives.
Delegates selected based on Academic Excellence (minimum 3.5 GPA), commitment to a future in the medical field, and leadership potential. Students are usually nominated by Parents, Teachers, Educational Institutions, and professional recommendations.
Anthony Henrich is a Junior at Cape May County Technical High School. He was selected to attend the event next June because of his "academic achievement, leadership potential and determination to serve humanity," according to a letter formally announcing his nomination signed by Dr. Mario Capecchi, winner of the 2007 Nobel Prize in Medicine.
