Free Beach Concert Announced in Cape May for Memorial Day Weekend

Cape May kicks off Memorial Day Weekend with a free beach concert by Yacht Rock favorites AM Gold

We recently published a list of the incredible concerts that you can see in Cape May this summer, but a new show that was just announced is going to be just as amazing.

Especially since it's going to be free.

I mean, anything that's free these days is wonderful.

And the fact that this is a summer kick-off concert in one of New Jersey's most picturesque spots makes this a must-see event.

Imagine this for a moment: it's Memorial Day Weekend, it's sunny and warm (let's hope), and you're headed down to Cape May to sit on the beach and enjoy a free concert as the sun gets ready to set.

Free Beach Concert in Cape May

The City of Cape May has announced that you can do just that with the band AM Gold at the beach near Convention Hall on Friday, May 22nd, from 6:30 to 8 PM.

AM Gold is a "Yacht Rock"-style cover band that frequently features music from those like Christopher Cross, Michael McDonald, Lionel Richie, Steely Dan, Toto, and more.

Again, the show is free to attend, and as the city put it: "Grab your beach chair, feel the sand between your toes, and let’s make some summer memories!"

The Cape May Convention Hall Beach is located at 714 Beach Avenue.
