He asked and she said "Yes!" Then, they asked and they said "Yes!" After getting engaged over the weekend, Chuck Wicks and his bride-to-be Kasi Williams were asked another very important question on Monday (March 11).

This time, Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany were the ones popping the question. The couple asked Wicks and Williams (Aldean's little sister) to be the Godparents to their two children, Memphis and Navy Rome. Tears, excitement and emphatic non-verbals followed. At Williams' Instagram page you learn that the soon-to-be newlyweds did in fact accept.

"Obviously, we’re super excited about it," she says in a video that explains how it happened.

"Let me think on it. Yes!" Wicks says in a separate Instagram story clip.

The Aldeans were waiting for Wicks and Williams when they got home from their trip to Canada, and they had a few gifts including one with a card that read "One more thing." Inside that card was a request to be Memphis and Navy's Godparents. Kasi sees it and buckles with surprise. Wicks is a little more restrained, but clearly honored.

Jason Aldean's Baby Girl is Here and She's Adorable!

Previous Instagram posts illustrated a close relationship between the group and their children. Williams has an 8-year-old daughter named Avery from a previous marriage, while Aldean also has two teenage daughters from his first marriage. People got the scoop on how the recent engagement went down with Wicks, sharing that he'd purchased the ring months ago and asked her father and brother for permission on two occasions.

Aldean has been very supportive, noting that he just wants what's best for his little sister. No wedding day has been announced but Wicks shares that they won't wait long. This fall seems likely.
