A Prayer Of Hope and Healing Amid The Current State Of The World

During these uncertain times, it's easy to despair.

If you believe the way I do, then you know that God is in control. Humans are innately flawed. The only way to bring about kindness and understanding is to see people as one. When one group suffers, we all suffer. We are a collective.

You may not share my beliefs, but hopefully, you'll accept my prayer I extend for you, yours, and all people today. Feel free to recite this and share as many times as you'd like. The hope is to share some sort of comfort and hope in the middle of the chaos currently affecting our country.

The only way to move forward is to love others the way you, yourself want to be loved. A message that's as old as time, for sure. But, as cliche as it may be, the weight of that truth should of itself be enough to inspire peace. That's not the world we live in, of course. What's the alternative? Look around. I'm sure this is not the world you envisioned for your children to grow up in.
