MTV VMA's

MTV is celebrating it's 38th birthday today, but when the iconic network debuted on August 1, 1981, it was only available in New Jersey.

By now, you've seen Miley Cyrus twerking and you've probably watched Justin Timberlake's 16-minute performance at the 2013 VMA's that aired last night.  But who wore what and who looked great?  And who forgot to look in a mirror before they stepped out of the house?
