The Most Romantic Hotels

Just in time (or the VERY last minute...) for Valentine's Day, TripAdvisor.com has compiled a list of The United States and the World's Most Romantic Hotels.  Grab you sweetheart for a romantic trip of a lifetime.  Just make sure you bring enough money, these places ain't cheap.... Here's Trip Advisor's top three most romantic hotels in the world.

1. Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora, Motu Theotu, French Polynesia

2. Capella Ixtapa, Paseo Playa Linda, Ixtapa, Mexico

3. Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa, Moorea, Papetoai, French Polynesia

Apparently French Polynesia is a romantic place!  3 of the top 10 most romantic hotels in the world can be found there.  It's also one of the most expensive places in the world!  One night at the Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora will set you back over $1000!

Trip Advisor also listed the United States' most romantic hotels.  The 10 hotels on the list range from places like Hawaii and the Florida Keys to Monterey, California.  However, number 3 on the list is close enough to take your sweetie for an overnight adventure in beautiful Bensalem, Pennsylvania!

WTH?

I've been to Bensalem, PA and there is nothing romantic about it.  Nor is there anything romantic about the third spot on this list.  Just follow the link to make your own opinion.  And if you don't want to drive all the way to Bensalem, just follow the Black Horse Pike to Egg Harbor Township to the Inn of the Dove's other location.

Somehow number 3 just doesn't match up with the rest of the hotels listed....

2. Starfish Manor Oceanfront Hotel, Lincoln City, Oregon

3.  Inn of the Dove - Bensalem, Bensalem, Pennsylvania

Who said that a mirrored headboard isn't romantic?

If my husband is reading this.... honey, I would rather go to French Polynesia than Bensalem, PA.  Just saying.
