What the national news media did to Atlantic City is terrible and it's time to fix it. Of special note here is ABC News.

I was literally sitting at a poker table in Atlantic City over the weekend when a guy sitting next to me talked about the boardwalk: "I haven't been on the Boardwalk yet. Can you go out there? Have the fixed it yet, or is just all gone?"

Ugh.

Note to the world: The Atlantic City Boardwalk is fine. It was not totally destroyed. Come and see for yourself.

Officials in Atlantic City are kicking off a new advertising campaign today, but some national news organizations, such as ABC, really need to step up and explain what really happened during Hurricane Sandy.

Check out this old news story from ABC. Throughout the story, the graphic reads, "Atlantic City Boardwalk Detroyed." What an example of terrible reporting. Fix it ABC!

Al Roker could pitch in too, over at NBC....
