For the second time in two weeks, a Vineland teenager has been killed in a traffic accident.

The Press of Atlantic City reports that Jermire Lowery has died as the result of a traffic accident in Vineland last evening.

Police say a 17 year old driver lost control of his car on Almond Road and struck a parked truck. There were five juveniles in the car. Lowery was taken to Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, where he died of his injuries. The other four were also taken to the medical center, where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The Press of Atlantic City reports the accident remains under investigation.

Two weeks ago, 14-year-old Alexa Strittmatter lost her life when she was struck by two cars on main street.
