'Saturday Night Live' veteran Bill Hader has revealed his desire to leave the late night series and some other famous faces may follow his lead.

The New York Times is reporting that they've learned that Hader has officially decided to leave the longtime NBC series saying,

“It was a hard decision, but it has to happen at some point. It got to a point where I said, ‘Maybe it’s just time to go.’”

Hader is best known for his portrayal of James Carville, Al Pacino and the popular Stefon.

While Hader had been a member of the 'SNL' cast since 2005, series manager Lorne Michaels is stating that other veteran actors like Jason Sudeikis and Fred Armisen are staying put, at least for now.

Seth Myers, "Weekend Update" host and writer for the show will also likely be leaving considering he is taking over for Jimmy Fallon in his late night talk show host duties beginning this fall.
