Cat Country and St. Jude Children’s Hospital Loses a Friend

We are saddened by the news of the passing of Cousin Vinnie Horvath, a big supporter of our Cat Country Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon, and of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

We have received word that Cousin Vinnie passed away yesterday. We understand that he was recently fighting his own battle with cancer.

Each year at our radiothon, Cousin Vinnie would show up and donate thousands of dollars to the kids of St. Jude. He tirelessly spent much of his time raising money for "his kids." He would always show up with literally pockets full of cash and checks.

His heart was full of gold.

Hopefully, by now, somewhere up there, Danny Thomas has had a chance to officially say "Thank you!"

Cousin Vinnie was an angel among us.....
