Celebrating 15 Years of Helping Out the Kids of St. Jude

We've reached a milestone this month: 15 years of Cat Country and you, our listeners, helping out the kids of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Your generous donations over those 15 years have helped raise over $1.5 Million for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Through the radiothons, the Quests for One Million Pennies, and other events, you've come through, and your generosity for the kids is certainly appreciated!

Your giving has done some good too! You have literally helped save lives! When we started helping St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in 2000, the survivial rate for ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) was 80%. In the past 15 years, with your help, St. Jude has helped push the ALL survival rate to over 94%! Survival rates for other types of cancers have increased as well.

As you know, families never receive a bill for St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
