My husband and I went to a concert Saturday night.  Then we had some drinks with a few friends.  By the time I looked at my watch it was 2:30AM!  But really, it was 3:30am.....  I regretted staying up that late come Sunday.  Daylight Saving Time always messes with my head.  And my sleep!  This morning, I didn't really know what time it was because I only changed a handful of clocks in my house....

Anyway, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, there are 311 million Americans, the average household has 4 timepieces that require manual resetting.  The Census Bureau shows 111 million households, which means there are 445 million clocks that have to be changed manually.  If it takes 10 seconds to change a clock, then Americans spend 1.2 million hours changing clocks, collectively, between Spring and Fall.  At a minimum wage of $7.25 per hour, that's $1.8 million.

Wow!
