Family Fun Run at the Steel Pier

The Atlantic City Rescue Mission has teamed up with the Steel Pier to put on a fun event called the "Mission 5K & Family Fun Run".  This fun race is a "race" against homelessness with all proceeds to benefit the ongoing programs to feed, shelter, and help the poor. 

 There will be a 1 mile walk/fun run at 9:00 am followed by a 5K race at 10:00.  The race starts and ends at the Steel Pier on Virginia Avenue and the boardwalk and refreshments will be available after the race at the pier.  Cat Country will be making an appearance at this event at 12:00 pm to 2:00.

The Atlantic City Rescue Mission is seeking local businesses and individuals to partner with them as sponsors which they will display on the back of the t-shirts distributed to all participants and sponsors.  Business sponsorship with the name and logo printed is $100, and individuals or companies wishing to have names only printed is $50.  To be a sponsor, email JohnDeMario@ACRescueMission.org before April 7th, 2012.  For more information call John DeMario at (609) 345-5517 ext.120.
