Money Magazine named 4 New Jersey towns as the "Best Places to Live in 2016!"

60 factors were used in determining which 50 towns are the best.  Things like taxes, healthcare and education were among some of the criteria that was used to name 4 New Jersey towns as the best!

The education and healthcare must be AWESOME in these towns, because we all know about the taxes....

Either way, here's what Money Magazine said about the best places to live in New Jersey 2016!

1.  Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ -

If you’re one of those people who believe that New Jersey is all industrial sprawl and one long turnpike, you might be surprised to find Parsippany near the top of the Best Places list. You might also be surprised to know that Parsippany has been named a Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation for the past 40 years.

2.  Edison, NJ -

Smack dab in the center of New Jersey, Edison is within about an hour’s drive of New York City, Philadelphia, and the Jersey Shore. It’s also a major commuter hub, where you can catch an Amtrak train at Metropark Station to major cities on the Eastern seaboard like Boston and Washington, D.C.

 3.  Franklin, NJ -

Once primarily a farming community—still evidenced by the acres of open space—it has grown rapidly to become a suburb with a diverse cultural blend. A big plus for Franklin is its proximity to major universities like Rutgers and Princeton, which not only provide jobs and educational resources but also contribute to a vibrant downtown areas with bars, restaurants, and theaters. Franklin itself is a melting pot of diversity, with city festivals honoring Greek, Lebanese, and Egyptian cultures, among others.

4.  Cherry Hill, NJ -

But there’s one thing that Cherry Hill residents agree on: their township is a fantastic place to live and raise a family. The schools are in the top 10% of the New Jersey communities on our Best Places list, while the median home price in 2016 was $217,000, an unusual combination of affordability and quality. The crime rate is also notably low; Cherry Hill ranks in the top 5% of the towns on our list in terms of overall safety
