I don't know if Candy Crush should be in a "favorites" category or a "hateful" category....  There are times that I love this game and other times I want to throw my phone out the window... Either way, it's time for another edition of Georgia's 5 Favs!

This eucalyptus spearmint scented candle is my go-to when Candy Crush stresses me out....  But really, the smell is strong and soothing.  My cousin-in-law gave me the lotion as a gift a couple months ago.  After the first try, I went to Bath and Body Works and bought another lotion, the hand soap, the candle and pillow spray.  That's how much I love this scent.  I mean really, who buys pillow spray?  Evidently, I do....

There is a fantastic website called Skinnytaste.com that is my go-to for healthy recipes.  Whenever I think of a recipe or see a dish that I would like to re-create at home, I check this website first.  Most of the time, there is a healthier version of the recipe on this site.  I've made several of her dishes and they all turn out really well.  And this skinny shamrock recipe is perfect for Spring, Easter and St. Patrick's Day!

3.  Candy Crush -

This wonderfully addictive, stupid game.......  Don't get me wrong, I love the game, but it's so frustrating!  I was stuck on level 29 for weeks.  Finally, last night I was able to pass it!  And I imagine it just gets harder and harder....  But I love it!  Each level is different, but the concept is basically the same.  Here's the description from their website -

Welcome to the Candy Shop! Which one is your favourite? Crush candy to create special sweets such as striped candy, wrapped candy and rainbow candy. Combine these specials to create spectacular effects such as Super Stripe and Mega-Candy.

  1. Create rows or columns with three candies of the same colour to remove them.
  2. Make special combinations with 4 or 5 candies to create special sweets.
  3. Combine the special sweets to create spectacular effects that will crush even more candy!

It's a lot of fun, but very addicting!

I bought a lot of new make-up last week that I will be sharing with you in the next few editions of Georgia's 5 Favs.  First up is this new blush.  I have naturally rosy cheeks, so I usually don't wear blush, but the lady in Sephora got me to buy this one.  I've heard a lot of great things about Tarte blush and I have to say that I love it.  The color is Peaceful, which is a light peachy/pink.  It works well with my skin coloring, something I always have a hard time with, but the lady at Sephora was a big help.  If you need help picking out colors, just ask them, they are a huge help!  And evidently this blush lasts forever.  I'm sold!

5.  The Skimm -

You can sign up for this free service by clicking the link above.  I've been reading The Skimm for a few weeks now and I love it.  Every morning, they send you an email with the days top news stories written in plain English.  You can read the entire email in a few short minutes and you will be caught up on the days news.  Their motto is, "We read.  You Skimm."  Brilliant.

And that's it for another edition of Georgia's 5 Favs!
