Well, hello handsome....

Welcome to the first edition of Georgia's 5 Favs of 2013!!  It's been a good year so far - all 3 days of it!

1.  Silver Linings Playbook

The best movie I saw in 2012.  Hands down.  I loved Life of Pi, but Silver Linings Playbook has my heart.  What could be bad about Bradley Cooper, the Philadelphia Eagles and Robert DeNiro?  Nothing.  Absolutely nothing.  Go see this movie before it leaves the theater, it's excellent.

2.  Apple Cider Vinegar

You might call me crazy, but I swear by this stuff.  Not for cooking, however.  I drink a Tablespoon of it each morning.  Every morning.  It helps with so many things!  Digestion, purification, skin problems, hunger, etc.  It doesn't taste good, but it works.  I take a swig of this particular brand of apple cider vinegar and then chug some Coca Cola Zero, it lessens the bad taste....  Click HERE to read about all the benefits of apple cider vinegar.  And obviously, talk to your doctor before you start a daily regimen and drink lots and lots of water.

3.  Frangelico & Coffee

We started this Christmas morning off on the right note!!  There's nothing like a little Frangelico and coffee!  My cousin-in-law makes this drink every Christmas morning.  And this year, we followed in his footsteps.  I wouldn't recommend that you do this in the mornings before you go to work, but it's perfect for Christmas morning!  Frangelico is a hazelnut liquor, so it pairs well with coffee.  Yum yum.

4.  Downton Abbey

Over the holidays, I was asked by everyone I saw if I watch this PBS show.  No, I have not, but I suppose it's high time I get the DVD's and watch a couple seasons of "Downton Abbey!"  Have you watched it?  Click HERE to read all about it.  Season 1 is next up on my Netflix Que.

My husband and I were lucky enough to head south just after Christmas.  We got a chance to hang out with my family in Atlanta for a few days at the end of 2012.  Every year that I stay with my dad and step-mom in Atlanta, I always come home with a grocery list of fun foods that we snacked on while visiting.  This cheese spread is so good!  I got it at Sam's, so it's a huge container, but it won't last long.  On pretzels, chips, crackers or anything else, this is a great little nibble for parties or just a snack in the afternoon.  Try it!

And that's another round of Georgia's 5 Favs!!  Check out my other editions HERE.
