Georgia's 5 Favs: Some New Clothes and a Great Movie

Today's issue of Georgia's 5 Favs has a lot of different stuff going on! Food, clothes, movies and more!

I have been on an intense search for Parisian macaroons for a while now. (Such an exciting life I lead...) Anyway, I have not been able to find them anywhere. That is, until I went to my dermatologist the other day! Her office is located in Haddonfield and I was a little early for my appointment, (and it was a beautiful day!) so I took a little stroll down the main street in Haddonfield and I came across Posh Pop Bakeshop. And they had macaroons! I bought one of each flavor - Vanilla, Chocolate, Nutella, Pistachio, Green Tea, Rose, Mocha and Coconut. With vanilla and coconut being my favorites. Sadly, I can't wait to go back to see my dermatologist to get more macaroons! Yum!

2. Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead -

Is it ironic or just plain stupid to have this movie follow macaroons....? Either way, I watched this movie last weekend and afterwards, I decided to have an apple for breakfast instead of a bagel with cream cheese. It's about the journey of a man who needs to get healthy. It's not overkill, it's not offensive and it's truly inspiring. I was in tears by the end. The last scene of the film had me boo-whooing. And Joe Cross (the main guy in the documentary) is Australian. It's fun to hear him speak.

3. SoundBot Bluetooth Shower Speaker -

I just bought this little speaker earlier this week and I used it for the first time yesterday. The SoundBot has a suction cup on the back, so you can attach it to your shower door, the side of your pool or hot tub or even a mirror! It's water resistant and works with bluetooth, so you can listen to Cat Country 107.3 anytime! I stuck it on my shower door and listened to Cat Country while I was getting ready for work yesterday morning! So fun!

4. 'Inside Man' on CNN -

I randomly stumbled across this show a couple of Sunday's ago.... It's on CNN and stars Morgan Spurlock, the guy from 'Super Size Me.' He's a brilliant documentary filmmaker and a producer, so I figured his show would be fantastic. And it was! The first episode I watched was the one that dealt with the world of the paparazzi. According to CNN.com, 'Inside Man' is "...hosted by Oscar-nominated documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock, gives viewers an insider's view of diverse sectors of American life, diving deep into hard-hitting issues like medical marijuana, the elder care industry, migrant farm workers, gun ownership, union workers, bankruptcy, education, and the drought." It's on Sunday nights at 10pm. Check it out!

5. My latest Stitch Fix!!! -

I knew that it would happen one day.... I would receive my Stitch Fix shipment for the month and I would love every single piece that came in the box. And it happened this past month. There have been shipments in the past in which I debated on keeping anything... But not this box. (Here's how Stitch Fix works, FYI.) I've already worn the bracelet, the skirt, the jeans and the silky shirt - can't wait to wear the tank top when the weather gets nicer! Score this month with Stitch Fix!!
