Georgia's 5 Favs! Some Yummy Pizza and a Great Way to Find Cheap New Books!

This week on Georgia's 5 Favs, I'm excited about some food (as always...) and a cool new find for some cheap books!

BookBub is an awesome (FREE!!) website/app that will alert you to free books (or $0.99 or $1.99) that you are interested in reading. Go to the website, create an account and answer some questions about the type of books you enjoy. They will send you an email everyday of free or inexpensive books that you can download to a number of different places. (Kindle, Amazon, iPad, etc.) The book above is one that I downloaded and paid $1.99 for while on vacation. I'm a slow reader, so I'm only about half way through, but I'm really enjoying the story! The titles and authors are usually lesser-known and trying to get their names out there. Check it out!

3. My new Tervis Tumbler -

I love Tervis! And this is my brand new cup that I picked up while I was on vacation. I went to Georgia Southern University, so I'm excited to spread the GSU love. However, if you were listening to me on Wednesday, you know that I tend to spill water all over myself sometimes while drinking out of my Tervis.... I'm a slow learner...

4. Houzz -

Houzz is a new website/app for me, my step-mom told me about it a couple weeks ago. They are getting ready to build a new house, so she's been doing a lot of research on different trends in decorating. You can create an account and start saving pictures of fun design ideas and products. You can search and filter thousands of photos by many different things. It's kind of like Pinterest for design. And it's addicting!

5. Hanx Writer for iPad -

Hanx Writer is a fun (free) app that I stumbled across. It was developed by Tom Hanks, who is an old typewriter enthusiast. It's an app where you can type things out on an old typewriter. It has all of the sounds and the feel of an antique typewriter. It's fun, but also functional. You can purchase other levels or types of other old fashioned typewriters, too. It's just a fun app to waste some time.

And sometimes that's all you need!
