Mays Landing Man Busted for Child Pornography

A 51-year-old Mays Landing man has been arrested on a charge of possession of child pornography.

Police say Kevin Mellon was charged following a four month investigation between the Township of Hamilton Police Department and the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office. he was charged with 3rd Degree Possession of Child Pornography. His case is pending court.

Officials say in April of this year, the police department was notified that a computer possibly contained illegal images and videos depicting children in sex acts.

This is the second child pornography arrest in Atlantic County this week.
