If you're stealing things (allegedly), it's best not to do it near a camera.

Police in Atlantic City say during the early morning hours of June 8th, personnel in the department’s Surveillance Center observed a person removing items from a vehicle on the beach block of Belmont Avenue and then walking to the Boardwalk.

Two officers responded and located the man, 30-year-old Michael Foster of Galloway.

The officers attempted to speak with Foster when he began to run leading the officers on a foot pursuit. While running, Foster attempted to remove articles of clothing to alter his appearance. With assistance from Officer Atiqul Islam, Foster was apprehended in the rear of a residence in the beach block of Texas Avenue. He was arrested without further incident.

Foster was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division as a precaution because he was breathing heavily and unable to respond to officers after being apprehended. He was released a short time later.
