Millville’s Mike Trout Opens All Star Game with Double [VIDEO]

Last night’s Major League Baseball All Star Game began with Millville native Mike Trout batting first.

Trout took the first pitch he saw and lined the ball down the first base line for a double.

Tim McCarver, doing the color commentary for the All-Star game for the last time (he’s announced his retirement at the end of the season) proves he doesn’t really know where Millville, New Jersey is located.

Please note: there is a long introduction in the video before the game gets underway, plus  some extra talk at the end of the clip.

The American League won the game, 3-0.
