Miranda Lambert has been taking her career outside of performing lately -- she's set to star in the upcoming film 'Something in the Water,' she runs a pet charity, and she recently opened a bed and breakfast in her hometown. But the singer says that her next step will not be opening her own record label.

"You know, I never have thought about that. It's so much to think about. It's a gamble, which everything is, but I'm just now 30 years old, and I'm trying to figure it all out as I go," she says of venturing more into the business side of the music industry.

"I feel like I've kind of got the music business figured out, and as soon as I do, there's a new corner turned or a new streaming thing going on or whatever's happening," Lambert adds. "It's just a little bit of a gamble to ever figure out what exactly the formula is 'cause there's not one. You've just kind of gotta fly by the seat of your pants."

Lambert still has plenty to keep her busy. In between her charity work and bed and breakfast project, she's still playing music, finishing up her Platinum Tour later this month. Lambert also just received nine 2014 CMA Awards nominations, including the key categories of Single, Song, Album and Entertainer of the Year.
