Rowan University police say the boyfriend of a resident assistant used her master key to break into several rooms in a college-run apartment complex.

School officials said Wednesday that it’s not clear whether anything was taken from the rooms.

Officials say the boyfriend and two others were charged with burglary and trespassing. The university has not released their names.

Rowan spokesman Joe Cardona would not say whether charges might also be brought against the resident assistant.

He tells the Gloucester County Times that the university has sent emails to all the students at the Rowan Boulevard apartments whose room was entered with the electronic key-card.
