No Shave November Raises Money For St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

No Shave November has come and gone, raising money for the kids of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. During No Shave November, team members donated for the "privilege" of dumping the razor and foregoing shaving for the month. Many also raised more money from friends and family.

A Beard Bash was held Saturday afternoon at the Pic-A_Lilli Inn in Shamong to wrap up the month-long fundraising effort. Trophies were awarded for "most money raised" and for the "best beard." Several No Shave November team members were in attendance. With more donations expected to come in over the next couple of weeks,  the Cat Country No Shave November Team was able to raise well over $2,500 for the kids of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

In addition to the No Shave November team members, a number of No Shave November "supporters" attended the event at the Pic-A-Lilli, all donating money to the kids of St. Jude.

Special thanks to Steve and Lindsey from Smithville Barber Shop for giving most of the No Shave team members a much needed shave or trim; and a big thank you to Bonnie and the entire staff at the Pic-A-Lilli Inn for hosting the event!
