The beginning of the week started with the coldest temperatures we have experienced so far this winter.  Unfortunately, some South Jersey dogs were left out to brave the weather.

One dog was found outside of a Millville home, the other was found outside in Vineland.  The second dog's chain was tangled to a lawnmower, which prevented the pup from getting into the garage.

Both dogs were taken to the Cumberland County SPCA.

According to NBC 10,

Experts say the recent bitter cold temperatures are especially dangerous to pets. After a long stretch of unusually mild weather, many animals are more vulnerable to the cold than they would typically be in January.
