Some of you may know she came back home to south 2 years ago, and since then she’s been doing some Woodworking and custom making things for everyone. She’s pretty much like the South Jersey Etsy—which a very artsy DIY website!

But what you may not know is how this all started for Tina and why.

Tina’s mother was diagnosed with Brain Cancer around the time she was born. She's fought the disease with treatments, surgeries and a smiling positive attitude. She would always tell Tina to be kind to everyone, travel often, and live the beautiful life we are given, for everyday is a gift.

And so she did! But one day, Tina got the phone call she had been dreading and moved back home into a tiny cottage in Avalon Manor with no closet, let alone a bed. So, Tina did what she had to do, drew up some plans and started building a storage bed. Simple enough right?

Well after building and posting a picture of the finished product on social media. People immediately started reaching out to Tina and asked if she could make them one too!

That trend continued with everything that Tina began to build to decorate her new home, and TADA! She created her own company right here in South Jersey called Salty Sailor Co.

Although Tina has lost her mom in this process, the blessing in disguise is that if she had never moved home to South Jersey, she wouldn’t be doing what she’s doing now!

She has set up her woodworking shop in a 5x5 space in the garage of her new home in Somers Point, where the orders have started flowing in...and haven't stopped.

However, Tina has been given a unique situation to open a store front in Sea Isle City this summer. It’s a huge dream of her’s and with some help it can become a reality!

Tina has set up a GoFundMe page for anyone who is willing to help Tina set up a shop of her own to keep giving back to the community!

And Tina is willing to show her appreciation of everyone’s help by giving a handmade wooden sign with the word thankful on it with any donation of $25 dollars or more!
