It is that time of year again where U.S. News and World Report ranks the colleges and universities in the U.S.

This year a South Jersey University makes the list for the top universities in the country.

Rowan University made #171 for 2018, the first year they made rank.

Not all universities are considered for ranking. According to NJ.com: "U.S. News considers a variety of factors in its ranking, including graduation rates and freshman-retention rates, along with faculty resources and expert opinions."

311 universities made the cut for this year's national ranking.

The number one school in the country also happens to be in New Jersey, Princeton University.
