The first commercials for the 47th annual ACM Awards have begun to air during the NCAA college basketball tournament. The spots revolve around Blake Shelton and Reba McEntire and their road trip to Las Vegas. The 2012 ACMs are on April 1.
More than 20 years ago, in March of 1991, Reba McEntire experienced a tragedy that will stay with her for the rest of her life. On Sunday night (March 4), the country star opened up on the OWN show ‘Oprah’s Master Class’ about the tragic plane crash that took the lives of seven of her band members, as well as her tour manager and two pilots.
On March 17, Reba McEntire will release her first televised concert special in more than 15 years. The 90-minute special, ‘All the Women I Am,’ will premiere on GAC. Encompassing the energy of McEntire’s live show, much of the footage for the TV special will come from her recent concert at Louisiana’s Cajun Dome, where the longtime performer had a film crew come along with her and roll tape.

The alleged news of her death has circulated so quickly that ‘Reba McEntire’ became the No. 1 trending search topic on Google late Monday evening (Jan. 30). Her latest Facebook wall update has been flooded with desperate comments from fans hoping and praying that a report that the singer had fallen to her death while climbing a mountain on an Austrian movie set is untrue.
