If you listen to country radio at all, and we know you do, you know to watch this video clip at your own risk. Toby Keith performed his can’t-ever-get-it-out-of-your-head catchy hit ‘Red Solo Cup’ today on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show,’ and the audience seemed to love the creative drinking anthem. Keith even cut the music right in the middle of the song to really play up the part where he proclaims that the cup is more like a friend to him than anything.
It’s true! ‘Beer for My Horses’ singer Toby Keith wants you to take a big ole swig of swamp water in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. No, he doesn’t want you to travel down to the Everglades and test the waters there with a straw. But he would like you to come to his restaurant I Love This Bar & Grill and try his swamp water drink — a neon green cocktail served in a Ball jar.
After an accidental hit with ‘Red Solo Cup,’ Toby Keith returns to his regularly scheduled programming with a new song, ‘Beers Ago.’ The cut is another country rocker with Keith playing the role of story teller.
It was only a matter of time before Cledus T. Judd did a parody of Toby Keith's hit song, "Red Solo Cup."
Maybe it really is true that you just can’t do it all. At least that’s what ‘Red Solo Cup’ singer Toby Keith seems to be discovering. After making appearances in the movies ‘Beer for My Horses’ and ‘Broken Bridges,’ Keith says he’s throwing in the acting towel for good — but not because he didn’t enjoy it.
Sure, you love Toby Keith's "Red Solo Cup," but what about a hip hop version?

This 'Glee' episode airs tonight at 8:00 PM ET on FOX. They did the song justice - I like it!
Toby Keith won’t make his ‘Glee‘ television debut until next week, but a full clip of the ‘Red Solo Cup‘ cover has already hit the web. When an old McKinley High School regular (played by Chord Overstreet) returns in the ‘Hold On to Sixteen’ episode, a party ensues, and the red party cups get passed around like candy — filled with sparkling cider, of course.
