The Band Perry Set for Super Bowl XLVIII Pregame Show

Other than the Super Bowl halftime show, country fans have something else to look forward to during the big game this year. The Band Perry will rock the pregame show on February 2.

According to USA Today, Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers will cover halftime, while American Idol Season 11 alum Phillip Phillips and country stars The Band Perry will hold court during the Super Bowl XLVIII pregame show in East Rutherford, N.J.

Cast members from the Broadway musicals Jersey Boys and Rock of Ages will perform at the NFL Tailgate Party. Opera singer Renee Fleming will have the honor of singing the national anthem.

Kimberly, Reid, and Neil of The Band Perry recently announced they will be joining country superstar Blake Shelton's 2014 Ten Times Crazier Tour as well.

The NFL pre-game-telecast will be aired on Fox February 2.
