Election Day is not a federal holiday, but some schools in the Garden State have been forced to close tomorrow following a large number of teachers who have decided to take the day off.

NJ.com is reporting that three local high schools will be closed tomorrow because teachers are exercising their right to use election day as a holiday...

Teachers at three Atlantic County high schools have forced the district to close for Election Day after deciding they planned to take off Tuesday amid a contract dispute.
Absegami, Oakcrest and Cedar Creek high schools in the Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District were originally scheduled to be open on Tuesday, according to ShoreNewsToday.

Washington Township High School announced last week that they will also be closed tomorrow for the same reason.
