Top U.S. Beach Named

Wildwoods may have the best beach in New Jersey, but San Diego, California holds the title of having the best beach in the entire United States.

That is, according to Dr. Beach.  Yes, Dr. Beach.  That's his official title.  I want that job!  He's actually a Professor and the Director of the Laboratory for Coastal Research at Florida International University, so he's legit.

And I want his job.

Usually Hawaii or Florida top Dr. Beach's list of the best U.S. beaches, but Coronado Beach in San Diego, California won top prize this year.  This is the 22nd year Dr. Beach has rated coastal areas throughout the world.

Twelve of the past 22 winning beaches reside in Hawaii.  I can tell you with firsthand knowledge that the beaches in Hawaii are spectacular.
