An investigation revealed the bus, being driven by 53-year-old John Powell of Mays Landing, was stopped on Route 50 with its lights flashing when the teen, who was driving a Ford Expedition, struck the rear bumper of the bus.

The school bus had twelve students from William Davies School on-board and no serious injuries were reported, according to authorities.

The teen was issued a summons for careless driving.

Just minutes before this crash, cops in Mullica Township responded to a crash between a pick-up truck and a school bus where two people, including one student aboard the bus, were treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.
