Upper Township Comes Together for Brain Cancer Awareness Month
Check it off folks, another month in the books! This weekend brings us into the month of May, and May brings us Brain Tumor Awareness Month.
Now this weekend may bring us…May, but next weekend (Saturday, May 6th) brings us a great benefit that you can attend to help support those affected by a brain tumor, like John Kiger Jr.
Roxanne Lloyd sent this Daily Dose of Good our way, as the friends and family of John are doing every bit of good they can to make this benefit possible for an amazing dad who is in need of a little extra good.
Back in February of this year, John was diagnosed with a brain tumor. In an effort to raise money to help John and his daughter with medical and living expenses; Upper Township has come together as one to plan a great night and create this benefit in his honor. The hope is that the funds raised will alleviate some of the day-to-day stressors that John faces, so that he can focus on his new priority: fighting the heck out of this tumor, all while being a great dad.
You can help John beat this! Kick off Brain Cancer Awareness month next weekend, Saturday, May 6th from 2pm-6pm at Levaries Seafood and American Grill with some great door prizes, great music, great food, great company and a really great Dad.
If you’re unable to attend the event but would really like to help John in supporting this benefit, donations are always welcome! You can contact Kris and check out the flyer below for more information in how you can be a part of this Daily Dose of Good.
If you know someone out there who is in need, or is doing a little extra dose of good, send us a message to our Facebook page and tell us the story!
