Too many Phillies phans are attending Nationals games when the Phillies travel to Washington, so the Nationals are now attempting to block us locals from attending.

No, I'm not joking. A team that ranked 21st in attendance last year doesn't want to sell tickets to people that are willing to take a three-hour drive to D.C. to see a baseball game.

Nationals management is sick and tired of seeing Phillies phans overrunning their ballpark. As of today, if you attempt to buy Nationals-Phillies tickets for games in May, you must use a credit card that is linked to an address in DC, Virginia, or Maryland.

No, I'm not joking.

Knowing how Phillies fans are, this should backfire nicely on the Nationals.
