Washington Nationals to Phillies Fans: Go Away

Too many Phillies phans are attending Nationals games when the Phillies travel to Washington, so the Nationals are now attempting to block us locals from attending.

No, I’m not joking. A team that ranked 21st in attendance last year doesn’t want to sell tickets to people that are willing to take a three-hour drive to D.C. to see a baseball game.

Nationals management is sick and tired of seeing Phillies phans overrunning their ballpark. As of today, if you attempt to buy Nationals-Phillies tickets for games in May, you must use a credit card that is linked to an address in DC, Virginia, or Maryland.

No, I’m not joking.

Knowing how Phillies fans are, this should backfire nicely on the Nationals.
