Who Would Be on Your Mount Rushmore of Country Music?
On Mount Rushmore sits four of our greatest presidents – by someone’s opinion. Who would be on your Mount Rushmore of Country Music – our greatest country stars?
In the Black Hills of South Dakota sits Mount Rushmore, with images of George Washington, Abe Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, and Thomas Jefferson.
If there was a Mount Rushmore of Country Music built, who do you think should be on it? Please answer below in the comment section. In the meantime, here’s my picks:
*George Strait – The King of Country Music. Hit after hit after hit.
*Garth Brooks – He brought entertainment and rock-n-roll showmanship to country music
*Kenny Chesney – On of today’s top artists. His rise to fame was catapulted after news broke of Kenny and Tim McGraw stealing a couple police horses in Buffalo.
*(This one might be a surprise) Randy Owen – The lead singer of the group Alabama. Country Music’s first super-group with over 40 number one hits. Randy is also the driving force behind country radio’s support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Those are mine. Tell me yours!
