Ashley Monroe is officially a mama. The singer posted a series of adorable photos featuring her new baby boy, Dalton William Danks, on Instagram on Aug. 4, including one with his proud daddy and one of the whole family of three.

“Welcome to the world, love of my life,” she writes as the caption.

Monroe and husband John Danks, pitcher for the Chicago White Sox, were married in 2013, with bestie Miranda Lambert playing Monroe’s Maid of Honor. The couple announced their pregnancy on Christmas day 2016 and revealed the gender in March.

“It’s a BABY BOY!! A big one I have a feeling,” she wrote, noting her growing baby bump.

Now that Dalton has arrived, we’re sure Monroe will enjoy some quality time with the family, but reportedly, she’ll soon be back in the studio with Pistol Annies. In a recent Billboard interview with Lambert, the story notes that the “Vice” singer “promises a new Pistol Annies record in 2018.”

The band includes Monroe, Lambert and fellow artist Angaleena Presley, and they’ve released two albums together so far. The most recent, Annie Up, dropped in 2013, and the first, Hell on Heels, released in 2011. They reunited to perform at Lambert’s show in Arkansas July 2016, but haven’t given any other firm details on an upcoming project.

Monroe’s most recent studio record, The Blade, was released to critical acclaim and named one of the best albums of 2015 by several publications, including Rolling Stone and Time magazine. It was also nominated for a Grammy for Best Country album. She also released a live album in 2016 recorded at Nashville’s Third Man Records, owned by Jack White.
