Carrie Underwood isn't well-known as one of country music's practical jokers, but after spending some time with Brad Paisley, she's clearly learned a thing or two.

While in Stockton, Calif., on Tuesday night (April 12), Underwood's pranking came at the expense of Easton Corbin, who was the victim in front of thousands of fans onstage. It was also his birthday.

"Ladies and gentleman, please welcome to the stage Easton Corbin!" Underwood said with a big smile.

Corbin then rose from the stage below and began to sing when his mic cut out — or, really, was cut off. Underwood, laughing, reappeared beside him to conduct the venue in a sing along of "Happy Birthday."

It was all in good fun, and Corbin captured the mic mishap on video, which he shared with fans on his Instagram. Underwood later shared the video, wishing her tourmate a Happy Birthday.

"Happy birthday, brother! We might have played a little prank on @eastoncorbin for his big day! Hope he didn't mind too much!" she said.

Underwood is currently headlining her Storyteller Tour and recently revealed that she'll be hitting the road with Keith Urban for his Ripcord Tour in Australia. That's not all Urban and Underwood have going, though, as Urban divulged that the "Church Bells" singer will also be featured on his upcoming album Ripcord.

“I wrote this song with this guy called busbee. The song is called ‘[The] Fighter,'” Urban told Entertainment Tonight of his collaboration with Underwood. “I would say it’s a call-and-response song between a guy and a girl, and Carrie’s on that song with me.”

“The Fighter” is the eighth track on Ripcord, and was both written and co-produced by busbee and Urban.
