The King of Country Music is celebrating his 60th birthday today.

At the age of 60, to say George Strait has had a remarkable career is an understatement. He holds the world record for more number-one songs than any other artist, in any genre, in the history of music (59). He's sold nearly 70 million albums -- 13 of those albums have achieved multi-platinum status. Overall, he is the 12th best selling recording artist in the United States.
